WRB Healing. Creativity. Connection. When Roses Bloom

When Roses Bloom

Creating safe spaces for healing, creativity, and connection.

A community-rooted nonprofit empowering individuals to heal out loud, grow through what they've been through, and build meaningful connections.

Dez Durden, founder of When Roses Bloom

Founder-Led Care

Built from lived experience, carried by community.

Dez Durden brings behavioral health experience, authorship, advocacy, and public leadership into a mission centered on healing spaces people can actually step into.

What We Do

Care that makes room for the whole person.

What We Do

When Roses Bloom creates intentional spaces where healing is not rushed, creativity is encouraged, and no one has to navigate life alone. Through community programs, events, and advocacy, we support individuals impacted by trauma, life transitions, and mental health challenges.

Why We Started

When Roses Bloom was born from lived experience—navigating trauma, abandonment, and healing without a roadmap. What started as a personal outlet became a community movement rooted in the belief that people need people.
